Hi everyone! We are happy to announce that we are opened again on a limited basis. ALL appointments will be scheduled (even eyeglass and contact lens pick ups).
The protection of our patients and our staff are top priority. There are many patients who have appointments scheduled in the weeks/months to come. We ask that anybody who can not make that appointment please call and cancel. We are starting to call patients that had appointments scheduled prior to June 1st that were canceled. Any patients with medical type issues are taking priority before routine eye exams. We apologize if this is an inconvenience, but with over two months of patients that need to be rescheduled, we need to be able to prioritize who is seen before others.
We appreciate all your patience while we transition into reopening. Due to the CDC and OSHA regulations we have new office protocols. When you arrive at our office, please remain in your car and call us to check in. We will bring paperwork out to you and ask you a series of questions and will take your temperature. If anyone’s temperature is over 100.4 we will have to reschedule the appointment. Once an exam room is available, we will bring you right in. We ask that all persons entering the office, over the age of two, wear a mask and maintain social distancing. We also ask that you come alone to the appointment or in the case of the appointment being for a child under the age of 18, only the patient and one parent/guardian can enter the office due to the strict guidelines we must follow. If you have other children that do not have appointments, please make prior arrangements for childcare.
We will continue doing eyeglass and contact lens pick ups as a “curbside” service.
We also wanted to share with you that if you need to pick out new glasses you will be given a tray to put any eyewear in that you tried on. Those frames are cleaned and disinfected before being put back out for other patients to try.
Again, thank you for your patience and commitment to keeping all of our patients healthy and safe.
